I recently purchased an 2008 Lexus is250 non nav. I was told by Lexus that all the components for XM is in the car except for the modulator. I was told that it is a $599 install and it goes in the trunk, hooks into the shark fin antennae and plays and controls through the stock stereo which has a satellite button. I personally prefer a factory look which is the reason I would pay the money for this but is this an item I could buy myself and easily install? Or am I better off all around just purchasing a dash mount XM receiver?
