Default Low auxiliary volume.

Whats going on guys am new around here just wondering if I can get a little help. I bough my Lexus Es330 about 7-8 months with an auxiliary cable already installed to the car thats triggered by a switch in the center console. My question is whenever I plug my iphone into it and switch it over the output volume is really low. Possibly 25-30% lower than normal output volume. While I have my phone plugged it am having to raise the volume to 20-25 just for decent output levels. Is there anything I can do to fix this?

Use an ipod cable that connects to the bottom proprietary ipod connector that goes into a 3.5mm head phones jack. You will get a full line level signal without headphone amplification. Much louder than headphones jack on the ipod and without distortion.
