I have a 2001 GS300 and thinking about purchasing a factory Navigation system off ebay or craigslist.

My questions are:

1. is it plug n play?
2. will a GS430 navi unit work for my GS300?
3. What model should I look for?
4. anything else I need to know?

Look around for a Gen 3 DVD unit part # would be 86841-33060 & I believe the display screen should work out of a GS430 as well. Gen 4 should have part # 86841-50090 on the DVD unit. Hope this helps

 

I have a gen3 DVD nav brain and 7.1 Disk (Backup) as well as original 2.1 disc. It came out of an 2003 GS300 SD. I am selling for 300 shipped conus if you are interested. You would need the main harness from the dvd brain to the head unit, the lcd headunit, and the gps antanna to complete the swap.
