Dice Media Bridge confusion
I just bought a 2005 Lexus LS430 with navigation. The bluetooth system in the car is terrible. I use an iPhone 4. My car does have satallite radio and dont want to loose its functionality. I am interested in the MB1500, how will it integrate with my system? I have called your sales department a couple of times and never get the same answer twice. How can I get accurate information on this? Id like to buy one, but want to make sure it works first. One of the reps told by by plugging into the external CD changer, I wont loose my SAT radio and still have all functions. Another rep told me the only way to have all functions is to give up the SAT radio and if I use the external CD I will have limited functions. Another rep told me if I dont have a text button on the radio I wont be able to see names or any text. I dont believe my stereo has a text button on it, but it does on the LCD screen. I use it all the time when listening to SAT radio.
Does your bluetooth system have an address book? What exactly is the voice announce system? does the LCD screen show caller ID with name and number? Does it support voice dial from iPhone4? Also please explain streaming via bluetooth? If audio streeming is so good, why ever connect it?
PLEASE CLARIFY???? Im more confused than ever. I really want to buy but need to know what I am buying and what im not.

You may want to try and email or call them directly as this forum has no affiliation with MB. I have an 08 IS250 with ML sound system. I connected the MB1500 to the SAT input behind the head unit and it works fine. I would assume if you wanted to use the MB1500 you would have to give up SAT radio as I don't see anywhere else that you could connect it to.
