Default Looking for sub and amp recommendations

I am in the process of upgrading my current system and I have already replaced my 2-way speakers (front and rear) with Focal 165 V30s. I will be adding amps (2 or 1) and subs (either two 10s or one 12). I have narrowed my choices to four companies:

Arc Audio (amps)
Audison (amps)
RE (subs)
Hertz (subs)

I am looking for an objective recommendation because it's awfully hard to get one from the vendor. Many thanks!

BTW, here are some pictures of my current system which is up for sale in the Audio/Video forum...

Greg,

What are the goals of your new system? What do you expect the new one to do that the old one didn't?

Assume you're building the system primarily for show (auto shows vs audio competition)?

Definitely not for competition. Just an upgrade. I listen primarily to smooth jazz and on occasion some blues and rock. I'm looking more for sonic/audiophile sound and quality, not something exclusively loud for competition. I did find a place in Noblesville IN (about 40 miles from me) called Xtreme Vehicle Designs and they carry alot of brands. I'll check them out too.

The old timers will already know the brand I will recommend.

Dynaudio.

Arguably THE most accurate speaker, bar none. If you're listening to jazz, you'll appreciate the fine details and ultra accurate vocals and piano notes. Piano and female vocals are the toughest thing for a loudspeaker to reproduce.

If the Dyns were used as a "10" reference, the focals would be a 6/7. There's that much of a difference.

Never heard of Dynaudio but I will look into it. I've already replaced my interior speakers so I'm now concentrating on the sub and amp. Thanks Percy

Mayo, I can't really offer you opinions on subs and amps as I'm just beginning my first audio build, but I did want to tell you that your trunk set up is awesome! I have never seen anything quite like it. Is that a Plexiglas window with an etched "L" emblem?

You can't go wrong with either of your listed amp choices, they are both very good brands that are above the entry level gear.

For sub(s) I think you'll get more using Image Dynamic subs. Are you looking to place the sub(s) in a sealed or ported box?
