Fiberglassed door speakers?
Anyone have any fiberglassed door speakers? Just wondering what to mount it to. I have a speaker mount/pipe to cut at an angle, but how/where to attach it to the door I'm stumped on.
I feel like it should screw to the door, and the door panel would go around it. Or is it part of the door panel -- that fastens to the door when the panel's on? Hmmmm...

Well, you're going a full custom route, so you have to customize it. I would suggest attaching whatever you have set to shim the speakers to a trim ring the size of the speakers that can maintain a flat surface.
Want a quick and dirty tip? 82-6600 from Metra. These are adapters that work for a lot of different applications, and can be sanded pretty easily to a ton of different angles.
