Default 2IS Amp Wiring

Thinking about running an aftermarket sub in my 2IS. I have not looked at the factory amp nor have I looked at the firewall, but I haven't found answers to these questions in all my searching.

I have the non-ML, non-Nav system. Is there an amp for the speakers and an amp for the sub? Or one amp for both? Or one amp just for the sub?

Can I simply cut the power to my factory amp to run power to my aftermarket amp, or do I need to run a new power wire from the battery? Where does everyone go through the firewall? And are there existing holes behind the rear seat to get power into the trunk?

And I know I need the low frequency signal converter, what wires am I looking to attach that to?

My plan is to run this until I put the FlyAudio unit in, at which point I'll use the pre-outs from that.

Thanks for the help!

I'm sure you will need to run a new power wire from the amp to the battery, but will also have to splice into the factory wiring to get signal to run the amp. Are you going to use the OEM speakers?

For now. I'm not looking for a ridiculous system. I bought the car for my fiance and she just likes a little more bass when she listens to hip hop
