Default station 1 vs 2 moves antenna

Hi everyone,
Im new here, just got the sc 400 a few weeks ago.
Great car so far and now Im working on adding a bluetooth audio stream or at least a rca input.
Im just wondering if something is wrong with the head unit.
When I switch stations between 1 and 2 the antenna moves up or down a few inches..
Anyone else seen this and does it mean my head unit is getting funky?..
Everything else about the radio seems to work, cd etc...
Thanks in advance for any input.

Peter

The antenna is probably working like mine did on the 90 LS I had for many years -- moving up and down to optimize antenna length to different radio frequencies. The feature may be described in your owners manual. The only times I noticed the up/down antenna movement was while listening to the radio with the engine off.
