My uncle recently bought a 2010 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon with the base audio package and now wants to upgrade the system. The actual speakers are satisfactory, he is just looking for a little more bass to listen to different types of music (not rap, so doesn't need anything too powerful). He said he was looking for a 8" sub, not sure on a brand, and a relatively low-powered amp...any suggestions?

 

is the sub going instead of a stock one?

If its an add-on i'd suggest basslink II. its only 250w, tiny footprint and it got a few surprised faces from the shop workers after they finished the install in my pathfinder 5 years ago.
