It seems most Lexus Stock Radio's start to show error messages for CDs around 80K Miles.
I bought my IS at 81K and was lucky enough to have been just over that mark with a non functioning radio.

I removed the neg batt cable and 1/2 hr later I reconnected and OUT POPPED THE DISC
