... in a 2000 LS400 w/ Nakamichi system?
I bought this (http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_...FQKenAodDjnv3w) for $40 seeing as it would cost as much to build PD's Aux input. I'm not very electronically inclined, so I thought i'd give this a shot.
Install instructions say to plug it into the back of my Nakamichi Deck (2000 LS400) but it doesn't fit. So I plugged it into the CD changer instead. I grounded it on a piece of metal under the dash. I powered it by using Add-a-circuit fuse adapter using the Radio No.2 fuse.
My CD's play fine but when I switch it to my Ipod nothing changes. The GS guys say it works with their Nakamichi decks but I can't get it to work on my LS.
Any ideas?

P.S. I'm going to post this same question in the LS400 (and maybe even the GS section) section as well.

 

Schnitz, I looked up the link but it didn't seem as if it was application specific. Not to jack your thread but I have been looking for something like this for my 98 GS400. Is there actually someone that has had luck with this unit?
