Default Subwoofer Diy

Where is that sub diy? Theres one reallll good write up with pictures. Either from a 3rd gen gs or a 2nd gen is, i dont remember but it was great. it showed where to bring the power wire through the firewall and everything.
I'm not exaggerating, I looked for a full hour yesterday.
Thanks

Cool

It was a tough search for "factory sub removal" that lead to this. What on Earf were you using??

thanks for trying...
Maybe I am doing a ****ty job of explaining.
It was a post here on clublexus. It's a DIY of adding an aftermarket amb/sub to the stock headunit.
And it's one of the best DIYs Ive seen. realllly detailed description and pictures of running the power wire under the battery and through the firewall, down the door sills and up into the trunk and where to tap into a ground in the trunk and more.
I can probablyyy figure it all out without this, but it was so detailed it would be nice to use as a reference.
But again, thanks for trying.

Thumbs up

I had very little luck with adding it to the factory deck, but this one hyah looks like it has most of the applicable information. Just tap the wires going to the sub for signal using a LOC, and follow that post's information about the power cable, and you should be good to go.

thank you again. This is a good post. It will definitely help. Still not the exact one I remember seeing though. I will just assume I dreamt the whole thing unless someone chimes in with the link
