had a question about the kit:



Is that curve "normal" - as in, is the molding like that to match the curvature of the dash?

the curve is normal... its like that so it flows with the lower ash tray

I just used the full plastic bracket. I just had to drill my own holes for the HU. As long as you are careful putting in the plastic and dont snap it, it holds just fine.

As for the curve, not normal. My kit it kinda wants to go sideways but once the HU is in place its all good because the trim around it, keeps it in place. It shouldnt be curving inward tho.
