Default SC Tweeter Pods

Well,

It looks like my stereo is taking a change in direction. My current build is here: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/lex...rsion-2-a.html

What started out as being a simple build has esculated as I keep working. I have never been very happy with the tweeter set up in this car and even after drilling the factory tweeter grill I was getting a lot of imaging issues. Now I've decided to replace my JL XR series tweeters with the Morel Supremo Piccolos. The biggest problem being the tweeter is 2 1/2 inches around. Going to cut the factory grill and attach either a piece of ABS or MDF to build the base on top of the pod. Fiberglass to blend in then texture paint or cover with material. It looks like it won't take to much to do. Tweeter will then just snap in just like the factory grill. Here's a couple of pics of the diameter (cardboard cutout) of the tweeter on the factory grill.
