Hi guys and girls.

I've spent a few days reading some threads and things and a few basic questions I have havn't been answered. I apologize if they were hidden and plain sight and I missed them.

On to the questions

1. How do I tell which system I have? Pioneer/ Nakimichi?

# 2. is a little more in depth:

With my key in the ACC position the stereo works, not that great but it can be heard. But it drains the battery fast.

With the engine running there is either no sound (all displays and functions work, still get search beep) or the sound is SUPER LOW with the sound turned all the way up.

If my RPMs drop below 500 it will get loud, sometimes it will get loud when I use the indicator and other wierd quirks.


I was wondering if this is an amp issue. The headunit seems to function corectly.
