Hi, Im installing a Clifford 50.5x into my SC. I picked the alarm for its ability to add multiple sensors and two way response, but I don't want the remote start function. Do i still need to wire up this section of the alarm in order for the alarm to function? Thanks, any help would be greatly appreciated.

Just the ignition and 12v wires need to be hooked up.
Note: Only the thin 12v constant wire from the main brain will need be hooked up. On the box with the thick gauge wires, you will only need to connect the pink to ignition.... This will make your alarm function properly without the remote start being active.
Note #2: You could wire up the whole unit and as long as the black/white isn't hooked up to anything (doesn't "see" ground) then the vehicle will not try to remote start. In this situation there is normally a switch put between the black/white wire and ground. The other option would be to not hook it up at all. Nothing will happen when you attempt to remote start... You will be able to leave the smaller harness (with black/white, blue/white, purple/white, etc) out in this circumstance because you will not need remote start and that harness is only used for input functions of the remote start...
