In my '98 LS400, my front cigarette lighter will not stay pushed down while it heats up. I can hold it down and it will heat just fine. I got a lighter from the back seats and it won't stay pushed down either???

What's the deal?

 

I have the same question about my 97 sc300. Im not a smoker but I was always under the impression that you push it in, it heats up and pops out, not that you have to hold it down the entire time yourself
