Default Sub Box and Stereo Install Finished Up

Mods I know that this probably belongs in the AV section, but I know that most SC guys don't look in there so I was hoping that it could stay here.

For this car I didn't want anything too terribly crazy or wild as far as sound and AV goes. I've had competition systems before and decided to do a little less this time around.

I went with Kicker 6.5" components in the front doors, Kicker 5.25" coaxials in the back deck, Infinity 4 channel for the kickers, Infinity 2 channel for the sub, and an Elemental Designs 11kv.2 sub. Because of course no one makes anything really for the trunk, I built all this myself. I've spent the last couple weeks building it after work and finally finished it up today. I think it came out pretty damn good and I'm very happy with the end result.

By the way, the Alpine deck is for sale if anyone is interested

Yes the stock sub is out and gone. I wanted to use that as a means for the sound to travel into the car. I don't know how much it would help, but I took it out. Mine wasn't in that great of condition to begin with.

Total wattage of the system is about 900 watts. Approximately 600 going through the 4 Kickers and then another 300-400 through the Sub.

good work. i've never seen a box covered like that before. what type of material did you use? did you just stretch it to the center of the sub cut out/hole? good job though...

Yeah that was the hardest part. This is all covered in black microsuede. It has a little bit of stretch in it, but not much. I wanted it to taper off like that because if I tried to follow the curve of the ring, no way the material would lay flat. So yes I stretched it to give it that look without actually putting something under there to support it.

I have a majority of the interior of the car now covered in tan microsuede and wanted to continue that to the back of the car with the sub box as well.
