Cd Changer In Gs300

Do Anyone Have A Gs300 93-98. If So What Changer Do U Have And How Many In The Magazine
I GET A CD ERR MESSAGE WHEN I TOUCH CD IN THE CAR. CAN ANYONE HELP ME WITH THIS PROBLEM

93 t0 97 gs300 used a 12 disc changeer made by fujitsu. err mesagge probably means the laser is not functioning not unusual in a 15 year old cd changer. but you could try a cd laser cleaning disc before buying a working used one. they go for around 150.00 if guaranteed to be working. i would recomend a 1996 es300 6 disc cd changer as they are more reliable and plug into the wiring harness. the es300 changer can be attached to top of the gs300 amp in the trunk in place of the gs300 factory changer .
