I read some posts about you guys customizing your radio trim with bondo.
I want to cover gap I have now. I got couple questions. What mod you guys do to the volume **** to be able to delete hole, do you cover all of the trim with bondo before you paint it.

 

okay..so first you want to make a cutout using plastic an estimated shape then you fill it in with bondo..then you can paint it

 

I got plastics pices glued to the trim. From pictures looks that the bondo blends so well with the rest of plastic trim. I am just looking if the whole trim needs to be covered in bondo to blend or there is other secret.
I want to make it seamless. What gets removed from volume **** to deleate it.
