i tried to install mb quart speakers with crossovers the other day in my 99 gs but the crossover box didnt fit in the door panel. also i tried them w/o the crossover and they sounded horrible. where can I find replacement pioneer speakers or speakers that will sound good/i dont want a system im just replacing the 4 door spakers

 

If you already have the speakers then I would try and make the X-overs fit, maybe mounting them under the dash or something, or probably removing them off their case, etc.

 

i was thinking of mounting them somewhere else but its for all four doors and dont want to start ripping my interior apart...wat do you mean by removing them off their case??take it apart?

 

if the crossovers don't fit in the doors you can always put them somewhere and run wires. I ran wires from the back of my car to the doors so I wouldn't have to mess with the crossovers in the doors. makes it easy to access them in the trunk.
