Sub Placement? Too close to trunk?
Okay guys, so my trunk is VERY crammed with my air setup and everything. I know you're supposed to fire the sub into the rear of the car in most cases...which I plan to do. However the only way that I can do this is with the speaker about 3 inches away from the actual back of the trunk lid. Should I fire it that way, or since it's so close should I just fire it towards the cabin.
Please helpp!
Thanks,
Elliott

hehe its just time to play around with it and see how you like it. my cousin subwoofer was flying all over the trunk lmaoo. but still hit good. its hard to say where to position it. since all people have different type of keen hearing and how they want their audio to sound. all cars are made differently tooo :]. like my 95 ls400 if you want a sub in the trunk you have to have a ported box and run a pipe into the rear deck hole where the original sub is. or you wont get the sound out of your subs. so i say just place it somewhere close the trunk listen to it and see if you like it :].
