Hi,

I think I blew out my Boston Acoustics C110 Subwoofer.

C110 enclosed 2ohm 10" woofer & passive radiator
It sounds like loose metal vibrating when the sub hits.

I need a recomendatoin on a shop that can test the sub and maybe do some other work that I have been putting off.

I'm not sure if i should replace this one. with somehting simmilar.
or Go to a free air 10" or 12"?

This is running of a good ADS amp

Need something close to fwy 92/101.

 

So maybe I can switch gears with you guys for a sec.

The sub is definetly bad.

I pluged in a 12" from a friend and it sounds fine.

What should i replace the sub with?

The problem.

I went and looked around and the enclosure I have is perfect for me. It's SMALL! 12x12.x12

Everything else I saw at the stores were to big or didn't fit on the shelf up in the GS.

I don't want to go free air for you are not going to get the same sound and I definetly like the enclosure sound.

So here is my problem.

The C1000 2 ohm (Dual Coil) speaker is not exactly made anymore.
Should I buy anoter Boston Sub?

Should I stick another brand Sub that needs 0.579 ft3

I'm running this with a A/D/S P2110 mono at 2OHM
