update: i just got in my power supply and my power supply adapter for the carpc. i just took it apart again and will do some minor touch ups to the center console and install everything again, and this time with the clean 'final' look. then after this...time to save up again for another 4 channel amp. then redo my trunk with the subs and amp setup. woo! this is going to be some fun stuff!

i have an aopen pc with a carnetix p1900 v2.2 power supply. im pretty sure i have all the connections correct, but for some reason, it doesnt turn on the pc. heres what i have connected:

input:
2 reds to battery via 15 amp fuse; 2 blacks to ground; yellow to ignition wire(ignition wire from stock harness to stock headunit), blue taped up and closed
output:
red/black to comp; brown/black to screen; red/green/white taped up and closed; green/black adapter to jp3 slot on power supply p1900 to computer acpi; blue wire to amp remote

when i connected it, and turn on the car, the p1900 led lights up twice, then once, then 7 times, then no light. according to the troubleshoot on the installation manual..it says to check the battery..because if its less than 10.6volts then it wont start or light up..but my battery tested at 12.77 volts with a full charge, 45% state of health...could it be my ignition switch? is the switch i have no small? when i checked with a multimeter, it showed around 12 volts coming out of it too. im so lost and confused! i just need this to turn on then my project is basically done! HELP PLEASE!!

oh, and just in case, heres my comp specs:
AOpen MiniPC i945GMx-F
Intel Celeron M 440 (Yonah) FSB533 1.86GHz

Have you tried jumping the ignition wire directly to hot?
Have you tried disconnecting the ACPI?

okay..i just tried jumping the ignition wire to the hot, and removed the acpi..still didnt work. i just tested the input of the psu, and it read a nice 12.6 volts..then i tested the output of the psu..and it read a 0.12 volts..that isnt right is it? so does that mean i have a bad psu?

Take the system and fire it up with an ATX power supply to ensure that board/cpu is still okay. If it fires up, then there may be an issue with the PSU. You could also try hooking up the carnetix supply to a motherboard in your house.

okay...well i got my new power supply in today and when i checked it out, i found out that the only reason why my other one wasnt working was because i was missing a jumper unit. so i picked one up and now, i have two working psu's. i finally finished installing the whole thing and will take some pix as soon as i can..which may likely be tomorrow. but everything works like a charm now! i love it!!

It's always some little thing you forgot to do....
