Need power inside cabin

hey guys,
i need to tap for power somewhere around the shifter. does anyone know if i can get it from the cigarette lighter or the heated power seat switch? are they switched on/off power...and by this i mean, is there no power if the car is off? if so, which wire? tia.

Use the cigarette lighter. Thats what I used to get power to my foglight switch. Should be a red wire and used a nearby bolt for the ground.

I used that bolt for the ground and we used a test light to find which wire on the hazards button was key-on power, and I spliced into that for my AEM UEGO. I'd recommend the cig lighter wire but mine wasn't showing power so I didn't bother.
