Default Subwoofer Virgin, Help Me!

I wanna install a decent subsetup in the back of my 2gs3. I was thinking about 2
10" subs in a sealed enclosure, and i was also considering 2 12".

I really dont know where to begin. I was looking at 2 Polk db 12"s and a sales person at FRY's ELECTRONICS recoomended (forgot the exact model) Kenwood 2channel 400watt amp. I really dont know much about wattage, omhz, or any other technical term. Thats why i havent bought anything yet, i wanna do full research before i buy the stuff. I already have everyhting i need to make an enclosure.

Any links to technical terms and stuff would be cool.

How do i wire everything? Can i take the speaker wires from the free air sub in the reardeck and use them in the amp? Can i connect the signal wires into the stock GPS Nagivation Headunit?

Any recoomendations on tips, and products would be great!

Taking advise from a Fry's guy on Car Audio is probably a bad place to start. Go buy some Car Audio magazines. Listen to your friends cars that have systems and see if you really need 2 10's or 2 12's. JL audio makes some sweet speakers and have some series that will pump out more bass in 1 speaker than some 2-4 Subwoofer set-ups, and nice amps. Also, check out reviews...And you can probably get more bass from 1 speaker than you can handle, with the right amp and keep your trunk for other stuff, you'll need that space one day.
JL Audio, Rockford Fosgate, Alpine, Diamond Audio, and Kicker are some names to look for.

First question you should ask yourself is: how much do I want to spend?

From there, you can start to make a shopping list. People generally spend about 400-500 on a decent setup, while I've seen audiophiles who go out and spend 2-4k on a crazy setup.

I've even seen people with 10 12''s, all fiberglass, lotta amps, a few caps.
