2001, ES300, running the OEM amp at 1 ohm.
!!! Not sure how long it will last like this. Its currently pushing four 4 ohm coils in parallel, in an IB sub install.

Just for the heck of it... Since I'm going to replace the OEM-amp anyways in the near future. I am "donating" my factory amp as the sacrificial lamb to this experiment... If nothing else, I will be able to proove/deny how well over-built the OEM sub-amp is. Crazy?.. Yes. Stupid... Yes. But heck, I'm willing to take one for the Lexus ES team on this forum.
I know people who plug their subs into the light socket and pump them with 110V-60Hz AC.... So IMHO this is nothing.
I'll post my results here.... With the hot summer months ahead, this will be a real test.
