What is the best way to hard wire a radar detector in a '93 ES300?

 

I wired mine to my head units power...mount it on the front windshield and run the wires behind the dash then into the back of the head unit, connect wires. It took some time, i did it at the same time as i did my stereo.

 

any one has any recondation for a radar detector, that I can hard wire in to my '01 GS430, or even any recondations on a prtable one ! I had a cople of times, that I lucked out in...I don't want any more chance any recomondations PLEASE....I heard or K40....if you go to eBay and type GS430 it will be the only car there with a built in radar detector...I think the auction is still going...

you could hard wire any radar detector to any car..so i dont know why your making specifics to the type of car you have..

as far as recommendations, id say the valentine 1..the factor that made me chose it over anything else is the fact that it has arrows telling you where the radar is comming from..i couldnt live without that feature.

and for the k40..i dont like it at all..
