Greetings all,
Don’t know if anyone experienced this problem before that can shed some light on my dilemma. I recently noticed the heated seat on the driver side is working on & off. At time I would have to continuously tap on the passenger side button to get the driver side to come one. Welcome any suggestion on now to resolved this.

The passenger side and driver side are not electrically tied together. So what that means is that you probably have a bad switch, or some other mechanical/looseness problem.
I've had the front seats out of my GS to put in new leather, and I cut out the old heaters to add them to the new leather covers, so I'm familiar. What I recommend you start with is to pull the center console apart and get to the switches - the wood-grain piece pulls up from the back end (it's clipped in), revealing the switches. Check the connections. Wiggle everything around & reseat the connectors. Possibly order a new switch from Lexus & replace the driver side one. (All of this will be cheaper than a trip to the dealer.)
If none of this works, it may be a broken wire within the heater pad itself, in which case, get your wallet out. At that point you might consider taking it to a car re-upholstery place. It gets complicated at that point. The easiest, but most expensive, thing to do would be to have Lexus replace the whole leather seat pad (the heater pad is sewn into this from the factory).
Hopefully it's just a switch or connector problem. Good luck.
