I live in Southern California, Los Angeles to be exact, and I own a '92 sc400 and want to put in a navigation anyone have a number/address/weblink to a company that can do it? As I can not do it myself as I know jack sqaut about car wiring. If you can PM me it or post it here, as it will be very useful. I want to navigation, new rims, new exhaust, boar out engine, and so on.

 

there are quite a few shops in just the LA area. do some looking online for the products you like then find a shop that carries them and go to them. MAKE SURE TO LOOK AT THEIR WORK if you get some custom work done since the SC dash is not a normal double din size.

I would suggest the following navigation systems: Eclipse AVN6610 or AVN5510 ( www.eclipse-web.com ), or the Pioneer Z1/Z2 <-- new model for this year, or if you want the best navigation go with an Alpine screen ( IVA-W200 or IVA-W205 ) with the add on navi NVE-N872 ( I think that's the new navi )

the biggest determination is going to be how you interact with the unit's interface. that's why I suggest going to a place that has the units you're interested in and playing with them for a little bit to see how you like them.

 

Thats not exactly my question I know Im going to get Z1 Pioneer, im wondering if anyone went to anyone that they can recommend. Opposed to me going to GAS or Platinum
