Default Integrated Cell Phone BEEP on startup..

When I got my Sc400 2 yrs ago, from the front passenger footwell there was a BEEP when I turned on the car, notifying me that the built in cell phone was on.

I gutted the handset and antenna, and I haven't heard the damn beep in 2 years or so...

Now all of the sudden it came back, how do I turn off the beep? I don't know what changed, maybe a fuse was added when I took it in for service? I don't know, anyone have any insight.

The BEEP I was getting was actually from the cell headset itself as it powered on. Once it was out, it has never happened again. I am clueless as to where your beep is coming from.

It must be from something other than the cell??

You'll continue to get the beep intermittently until you remove the brain for the cell. I believe it's on the passenger side somewhere. I'm just completely unsure where exactly though.
