IS300 stock headunit help

IS300 stock headunit help
Hi all, in my IS300 the head unit works, however it will not play CD's. It gives me an "error 1". I really don't want to replace the unit if nessecary, is this something the dealer can fix or did the cd player completely take a dump.

I have this same problem with my IS 300. It seems to be a common error in our model. I know there is a way it can be fixed if you take it to a Lexus dealership (for a big price Im sure) But thats what some people Ive talked to did....
Im just getting a new head unit anyways with tv/navigation/cd player and everything so, fortunately I dont need to get my stock unit repaired.
So I'd suggest you take it to a local Lexus dealership and see what they can do!
