Auto Sound Leveling
For those of you that have it on a ML system, do you keep ASL on or off and why? I wonder if it plays any role in longevity of the ML system.

ive got it on, and leave it on all the time
sometimes it improves radio quality when im listening to FM
other times if the CD recording quality is good, it doesnt do much
