Im thinking about putting a JL 10ib4 in the stock location on my 93 LS400. But what I was wondering was how would the fitment be if I put a 12ib4 in there. I do realize I would need to cut the hole bibber, but do you think it would still fit underneath the factory speaker cover. Thanks

 

I'm not 100% sure, but I think if you upgraded to a 12" sub, you will have to make a new cover....I'd stick with the 10" anyway, you will get better overall sound.

 

I guess I was considering the 12 cause it could handle more power, and have an extra 2 inches of speaker to fill the cabin of the LS. But if it wont fit under the cover then I wont do it. Im gonna pull everything apart this weekend to check fitment. thanks.
