I am wondering if the rear view camera can be used while driving, so it could be used as a rear view mirror?

It is probably a common question.

 

A stock back up camera, or an aftermarket?
If its stock...negatory. If its an aftermarket, you could prolly set it up so you could use it like a rear view mirror.

 

You probably could, if you bought some sort of aux-in device like the Vaistech. The problem would be that most rear view cameras are pointed slightly downward and the angle isn't really that wide before it goes out of focus.
