Gs300 Radio

MY STOCK RADIO TURNS ON BUT I DONT HEAR ANY SOUND. THEN IT TURN ON FOR ABOUT FIVE MINUTES BUT THEN THE SOUND GOES AWAY. iT CANT BE MY AMP BECAUSE MY BACK SPEAKER IS NOT CONNECTED. HAS THIS HAPPENED TO ANYONE BEFORE?

the 96 gs300 has a 5 channel amp (4 door and 1 subwoofer all run off the 5 channel amp located in the right quarterpanel of the trunk. so yes it can be the amp that is the problem .
