Anyone have experience with these kits? Do they help take the noise out of the AM section of the Nakamichi? Mine is almost unlistenable, even on strong stations. FM works just fine - it's just the AM that is affected. I have been interested in the Daizen product, since they appear to have a unit designed specifically for the SC400, but I am having trouble getting any info. They show Lexus of Stevens Creek as a dealer, but no one there knows anything about it, and they tell me they will check and get back to me, but I have been waiting over 6 months for a callback, and nothing so far. I have e-mailed TM Engineering, whose website states they handle this product, but so far, they haven't responded either. Daizen also has not responded to my e-mail, and they don't even publish a phone number. I don't understand why I am getting such little response to my request to purchase a product!
If there is another kit (A-pexi?)that works well, I would appreciate hearing about it. I would also like to know if this is not the answer to my problem - if that is the case, what is?
