Default Installing neon

Sup everyone, I want to install some neon lighting inside my trunk. What is the best way to do this. Every neon comes with a cigarette lighter plug. Do I cut off the neon plugs and connect them to a switch and then run the switch to power or is there another way to do it. I want to install about 5-6 small neons. Please let me know.

Thanks

You could hook up all your neons to a relay. You could use either a physical switch or the remote wire for the "switching" wire for the relay. Don't forget to use a fuse it BTW.
For the cigarette lighter plug, the center prong is the positive and side prong are the negative.

calm down, no need to be rude.

he is putting neon into his TRUNK, for the custome enclosure he has on what appears to be a show car more than a DD.

most 12-18" neon kits come with regular wiring, not cigarette plugs, but either way, you have to run the wiring to the front of the car to the battery, fuse it, and hook it up.

you could also catch power from the trunk light this way your not using a switch to toggle power on and off. when you open and close the trunk this light will turn on and off. as stated above make sure you use a fuse.

or you can even catch power from the trunk light and use a switch so when the trunk is on you can still turn it off if you want
