only first genratrion lexus changers will work. they all have 3 sets of communication lines. the 2nd generation 98 up lexus cd changers went down to 2 sets of comminication lines so they wont even work on first . and lastly aftermarket chjangers only have 1 set of communication lines so wont work with any lexus cd changers first or second gernation without a device that makes it posssible to communicate.with the lexus headunit. vaistech a revered vendor on this forum which makes units that make it possible to communicate to lexus headunits with all kinds of peropheral devices but short of buying one of those you will have to find a lexus cd changer to replace it with. any first genration changer will work. the best would be 93 94 ls400 6 disc changer made by pioneer or the 92 to 96 es300 6 disc changer also made by pioneer.
