Default PLUG n PLAY Navigation Interface to DVD/Video

Anyone have or know a good unit that isn't over the top expensive....and is plug and play to switch my ML Nav screen to video. I do not want to rip anything apart or splice any wires.

The job is totally custom and you would need to tap into stock wires to do this mod. Im not sure what car you have but in the GS forums there is such a guide. A simple search should reveal the thread.

Well, there is the "Xbox" route that has been done...actually, any source that will have component outputs (not RCA composite). Using an Audio Authority 9A65 and a couple of 4PDT relays (plus misc wires/connectors) will switch video and audio over...it's not difficult to do if you've ever done an audio installation...but its definitely not plug-in and play. I may try doing a write up on both sometime.

with that being said, I "did" make mine a plug-in and play since I didn't want to hack up the stock wires...but I couldn't find the right connectors, so I ended up hacking some firewire mobo connectors and making a harness...it's not pretty, but it works.
