Trip Odometer not working?

Hey!
Just got myself a 1998 LS400 (a lease return), and all is beautiful, but one thing....
Could someone correct me if I'm wrong, but if you press the trip/odometer button, it SHOULD toggle between Trip A, Trip B, and Odometer, right? Mine does absolutely nothing. The drive computer trip works fine, though.
Anyone have any thoughts?
