Major Problem
HERES THE DEAL.....i recently got 3 10" polk db104 series w/ single voice coilovers....got em wire up into parall 1.333 ohm in a box...and yada yada...got a amplifier...an old school one by us amps...a 50hc model...at one ohm bridged its able to push out 375 ish...well...so i have the gain on barely half way...i play it on my car for about 2-3 hours a day...boom...my car dies in a matter of 2-3 days....the battery is drained completely....it happened twice...the first time i was on the highway onramp..nd my car jus died as im gettin on.....second...when i was pulling out of my driveway..it dies again...i have a decent battery at 640 cca...wat the hell is going on...i got my alternator checked out....its fine..my batteries ...ive had to swap 3 of em cuz my car kept dyin on the road...all three on them were perfect..its really scaring the crap out of me as the car shuts down completely.......i have everything wired up right...a fuse b4 battery terminal...nd everything...jus dont knoe whats goin on?
yep alternator was checked out by autozone and KRAGEn...both said they were fine....yes i tried removing the fuse...and restarting the car..but the car wouldnt even start...I mean the entire battery was drained...!..nothin worked in the car........this is how i wired up the amp

Toggle switch . . . hmmm . . . do you remember to turn it off every time you exit the vehicle? Most times, you want to run a remote wire (with relay) from the stereo to trigger the amp's power. A few times forgetting to switch it off by a toggle and VOILA! Dead battery.
With an amp that draws that much current, get a sealed battery with at least 800cca and connect at least 2 farads of stiffening cap for the spikes in current caused by bass notes . . . That should eliminate any lackluster performance (music) and alleviate any type of power issues within your interior lighting / headlights (dimming on each powerful note).
