have anyone checked out the new 06 product that alpine coming out with? im feeling the alpine iva w200 it's there new touch screen monitor, it's double din and wide screen. but one thing i don't quite understand is the tme m770s, why would you need touch screen for the rear head rest? i guess it would sumthin hot to have i dunno. also check out the new iva d301 it's just like last year's d 300 but a bigger screen and of course it's been upgraded. But im trying to compare the iva d301 to the iva w200, is one better the the other ( proformance, sound quailty, extras, etc) so when ever someone have time check it out and tell me y'all opinions on the products

 

I swung by a car audio shop around my workplace just trying to see what's out there for double din units. They mentioned that Alpine was coming out with one and it was going to be the must have double din unit. I didn't get the model number but I did see a picture of it in a brochure. I'm assuming this is the one you're talking about. I didn't ask much about it but was told it won't be out til March or May, can't remember exactly. Looks like it's going to be quite pricey, $2000+?

I can't wait that long so I'm going with the Eclipse AVN5435.

 

yea we are talking about the same product, it's a swing face unit and it comes out in march. but 2000.00?, on the website it's priced at 1100.00 but i know places usually mark up the product. i was looking for sumthin like this to replace the navi screen gs ( i don't have a gs now but will soon once the weather break). but i got a question? when u remove the navi right, is it hard to install the ac/hv control unit? because i know that the ac control is intergrated with the navi

 

no navigation but its a must have double din??? I would hope at least it had built in navigation in order to be considered a must have in my car. especially if you're pulling out a navigation unit to replace it.

 

WOW the 9965 looks killer, to bad its rancidly expensive for a single din HU
