Anyone ever used any Beltronics radar detectors? I want this Beltronics Vector 995, will it work pretty well?

 

My friend had one of these on his car and when we were taking a short trip, it picked up 3 out of 3 cop cars within a reasonable distance. I was pretty amazed, i'm not sure which beltronics he has but it sure did work well.
