changing speakers
Mods if you can please leave this here for a day or two would be appreciated
I have searched on here but still can't cant find the info I was looking for...
I am getting ready to change my door speakers in my GS, I am going with Boston Acoustics Z series in the front and Pro series in the rear doors. What size will I be able to use? Can I go 6.5 fronts and rears, or 5 in the front 6.5 in the rear? 6.5 front 5 in the rear? I currently have the Nak system I am not sure what size I have in the doors right now. Also this is going to be used for a SQ system so what sizes in what locations would be better?

stocks at 4" speakers.
You can fit 6.5 if you want but you would just have to make a new mount for it. Which can be done with using your stock speaker mount as a template, trace it on a 1/4" thick wood and cut it to shape. Then position where you want the speaker to be and cut out opening to mount your speaker.
