Hi guys, question here wondering if anyone can help me out...

I purchased the Viper 791 alarm system.

Basically, the key we need to program to work with our cars, will any key work? Does it have to be the valet key? Can it be a master key? or a Transponder key?

And also, does the key need to be programmed to our car? (Might need to buy a new one)

 

All keys including the flat credit card type key will work. The key must be programed to your car for it to work. You dont need to cut the key, just program it to be recognized by the car.
