Has anyone ever upgraded the dvd on their navigation system? I have an 02 lx470 and it's still running the disc from 2001.

 

Isn't your unit the Denso/Kenwood unit? If it is they've got new discs for 05 you can search on Ebay by doing "Kenwood Navigation" and seeing what items are for sale.

I own the KNA-dv2100 from 01-02 and I know they just made a new disc for it that thats the maps for 05-06 (KNA-MP215 or something like that). Yours might be the 315 or 313 designation because some of them say Lexus Navigation as well. Keep us posted

Should. Call the Lexus part's dept tomorrow and ask them for the part #. If its something like KNP or KNA-313 or something like that then it's the same disc Kenwood uses on their KNA-dv3100 and the new 4100 Navi units. I think the latest generation Lexus Navi's are the KEnood/Denso ones. Their GUIs (graphic user interface) look exactly the same
