Single or dual sub?

The electrical wiring diagram book for the 01 LS430 shows two subwoofers connected to the factory amplifier (not marked L or R). Are these two separate subwoofers mounted in the rear or single woofer with two sets of speaker wires?
Also of interesting note was no mention of Mark Levinson sound system, only 7 and 9 speaker system.

I did recall seeing a ML system schematic but didn't get a chance to copy it.
