Default Radio Cuts out... Elec problems?

It doesn't do it all the time but my radio cuts out sometimes when I turn on a blinker. I estimate that it does this about 20% of the time. It's pretty annoying when I'm rocking out to Barry Manilow and all of the sudden it's only my voice singing when I turn on my blinker. Not a good way to impress the ladies...

Worthy of note: the car sits in my garage for weeks at a time. I usually only drive it about once a month, and I've only put about 2K miles on it in the two years I've owned it. I do start the car up every couple weeks and let it run to charge the battery, but maybe this isn't enough.

Do you think my car just needs a new battery, or could this be a bigger problem?

The car is a 1994 SC400.

Bone stock. I''m not sure if it's a Nak. system or not. It just says Lexus Premium Sound, so I'm not sure.

Thanks.
