Hey guys ill be getting a 12" Kicker L7 and wanted to know if I should put it in a sealed box or a ported box. Ill be running it with a 600 watt amp. The subs RMS s 750. So Sealed or Ported?

 

if your amp is a true 600 watt amp, then either one should be fine.
IMO, I prefer a sealed box, not as efficient, but plays a broader range of low frequencies, when compared to a ported box...which typically sounds better.

 

depends on ur music. if u want loud loud bass, go ported. if u want tight bass go sealed. but with a kicker u will never get great SQ.
